Chillingham Castle Ghosts

As we dined one evening in the castle long room, and consumed large quantities of Buckfast wine we were suddenly aware that the room was oddly cold. Jill immediately closed the window and lit the coal fire - gradually the numb feeling left our bodies. Just at that moment a strange glow moved slowly across the room. It seemed to be begging for a taste of the wondrous Buckfast wine (the spirit of spirits) and when it wasn't offered any it took its leave.
